Shin Godzilla, or Godzilla Resurgence, was teased earlier today with a poster and the following trailer:
Hideaki Anno, creator of the anime Neon Genesis Evangelion, and Shinji Higuchi, director of the 2015 anime adaption of the manga Attack on Titan, have been assigned as the directors of the film.
Shin Godzilla will be the 31st entry in the Godzilla franchise, and will release in Japan on July 29, 2016. There is no information relating to a release of the film outside of Japan.
